Just realized that today marks my 2nd year anniversary for making my healthy lifestyle change. Back on February 20th 2013 I woke up and decided THAT day was the day. There was no putting it off. And I NEVER turned back. I remember the times I would fasten my seatbelt and HATED how it would hug my belly fat. I remember wearing size 14-16 jeans and now I’m a 5/6. I remember that first day I was laying on my yoga mat to do Shavasana and laid my hands in a triangle onto my belly and I would think how I wished my belly would just go down and away. Looking at those little bitty chicks in the video made me determined to be like them. Every time I do Shavasana, I think back on those times. I remember when I would do Downward Facing Dog and I could not look in-between my thighs like they say to do in the video because my thighs were too big. I remember struggling to complete 1 mile with Leslie Sansone videos. I remember people thinking I was expecting a baby. I remember having no energy. I remember feeling groggy every morning. I remember always being sick. I understand some folks have a struggle with losing weight and sticking to it. This was never the case for me. Weight won’t come off overnight. You have to make smart choices in the food and fluids that go into your body. You have to move that body.
