Here you will find tips, recipes, my workout schedules and a tidbit into my life as I try to balance health & fitness with everything else going on in my world. I want you to Lose weight at home with some fitness fun. I want to show you healthy eating and exercise at home. You can easily lose weight in 30 days with many of the programs that I do.

I created this site as a way to hold myself accountable so that I will not back down and I will continue to live a healthy life and keep toning up. I also hope to inspire others to do something positive with regards to their health.

ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Laura Wright

I wanted a place to express my own opinion on eating and exercise. One does not need to hire a personal trainer or join a gym in order to get healthy and fit. All you need is some fitness at home, some time, and healthier eating plans. I also found that you really do not need to be a runner in order to lose weight. WALKING is my main form of cardio. Walking is easier on my joints and easier on my back since I have scoliosis. I can not do those fast paced aerobic dance videos. Tried several and got frustrated then quit and went back to my walking DVDs. What I can do is Leslie Sansone Walk at Home DVDs, Strength training with Denise Austin DVDs, and Namaste Yoga DVDs. Remember, if you get stuck at the same weight then you might want to consider changing up your routine. I change my routine daily but always start with walking with Leslie Sansone.

I’m not going to lie and say it was easy at first. Or that it’s easy now. But with time, you get better the more you do anything and you get faster. You have to have the right mindset. I’ve never given myself an excuse since I started this journey back on February 20th, 2013. I knew I could do it. For some that is the hardest part, telling yourself that you DO have time and that you can DO it. I like to say that eating healthier is a lifestyle change, NOT a diet. This lifestyle change might be a chore at first, but that chore will turn into a habit, and eventually you will become addicted to eating healthier and working out, like a drug. (but this is a good drug)
